After my little hiccup in London, or rather, the Fuji's little hiccup, I went to a location not far from home during a busy weekday lunchtime to see what I could capture.
A few shots of people waiting, working, wiling away time.
These images are reminiscent of Lee Friedlander's (b.1934) street and urban photography. Friedlander captures the intensity of a frenetic city perfectly with the use of disjointed bodies, missing faces and people engaged in a variety of activities. What is apparent is that there is no interaction between people: each person is in their own world.
