The Frankfurt German Christmas market is back and is in full swing. For around six weeks every year, the market comes along, bringing with it around 5 million visitors to the city. The market has a bit of a Marmite reputation to locals, who either love it or hate it.

With redevelopment work taking place on Broad Street and Centenary Square, the Big Wheel and ice rink have been relocated Eastside City Park, near Millennium Point and will be around until 6 January 2019, which is plenty of time to break out the tripod, take some long exposures and have a warming hot chocolate afterwards.
